Bb Learn Course Messages -- Disabling

The "Course Messages" tool is in addition to the "e-mail" tool (Learn includes both) and found in the "Course Tools" area or on the "Tools" page that can be made available to students.  Unfortunately there is no clear indicator to let instructors or students know that a message is waiting with the "Course Messages" tool. This is how you can disable it.

Checking for "Course Messages"

In your Bb Learn course shell or shell, first check to see if there are any "Course Messages" in the shell by doing the following:

  1. Click the "Course Tools" link under the "Control Panel" in the left-hand course menu in your Bb Learn course shell or shell.
  2. Click "Course Messages" if available. If not available, then "Course Messages" has been disabled already in the shell, and you do not need to proceed with these instructions any further.

Disabling the "Course Messages" Tool
