Changing DNS - Cloudflare and Drexel DNS

Setting your primary DNS Directory look-up address on your computer or router can often speed up your internet access, and resolve weird or annoying issues you experience with websites or your internet connection.

And it's simple to do -- if you have some familiarity with your router/modem.

We cannot assist with any changes to your modem or router, so if you are not confident or comfortable making those changes on your own, or fixing issues that arise from doing so, you should not attempt them. You bear the blame for any accidental or unknowing or error-derived damage or losses in anyway by following the instructions below.

We do not recommend downloading the Cloudflare-related apps.

It just adds a non-Drexel VPN, and other software and settings that can be confusing or lead to other issues.

  1. Visit
  2. Scroll down to the "Set up on..." section.

  4. If you need more specific instructions than this, do not attempt this.
