Canvas - Extending Course Start and End Dates

Following are the instructions to extend the start and end date of a course:

  1. Go to "Settings" in left-hand navigation in your Canvas course section.
  2. On the "Course Details" tab, scroll down to the "Participation" section.
  3. Instead of "Term" in the drop-down menu there, choose "Course."
  4. Set start and end dates.
  5. Click "Update Course Details."
