Trouble uploading for assignments

If getting a 500 error when submitting, avoid uploading file formats other than JPEG or PDF. HEIC image files are known to cause issues.

If you submit through your iPhone, HEIC images are actually converted to JPEG when you upload them to websites (unless website says it supports HEIC).

On Mac laptops or desktops, you can right click and image, go to Quick Actions > Convert images and convert to JPEG (lossless recommended unless files are too big).
