Discord
Discord allows students, staff, and professors to communicate and form community within the College.
What is Discord?
CCI IT supports various Discord servers for the college. All students, faculty, and staff are eligible to join the college Discord server, where certain classes have categories and students can chat about various topics. Some courses and teams have dedicated Discord servers due to special requirements, such as access for external collaborators.
How do I get access?
All CCI Faculty, Staff, and Students, as well as all students taking CCI courses, receive access to the college Discord. Access for students is typically granted before their first day of classes, and faculty and staff receive access when they join the College. Roles are assigned on a rolling basis over the first week of the term, so it may take a day or two before students who add the class late receive access.
To claim your account, visit https://apps.cci.drexel.edu/ and log in with your DrexelConnect credentials.
To request a Discord category for your class, please use the form emailed to you during break week before the term you're teaching in.
To request a Discord server for your team, please email ihelp@drexel.edu with an explanation of your use case.
