What is Camtasia?
Camtasia is a very popular video editor application from TechSmith. It’s not as feature rich as, say, Adobe Premiere Pro, but it has all the main features you would need, and requires far less instruction and practice to get used to.
How do I get access?
Camtasia does require a paid license for use for more than a week or month, but Drexel faculty, staff and PhD students can take a self-paced online quiz and get a Camtasia pre-paid license. Generally, you install Camtasia on Drexel-owned or -managed computers through Microsoft Software Center in Windows or Self Service in macOS.
