Generally, we recommend you simply use a screen recorder and make a single video stored in Kaltura or Drexel Streams rather than embed audio or video files in a PowerPoint file, and add the PowerPoint file to your Bb Learn course shell, to conserve server storage space/costs.
But you can embed/record audio and video files in a PowerPoint file.

If you are not doing anything except showing the slide, please simply record audio instead.
This saves on storage space/costs, and this makes it easier for students to download the PowerPoint file.

If you need to record video on a Mac for a slide, we recommend using QuickTime's screen recording feature to record the video, then the free Handbrake video converter to convert the video file to mp4 or m4v format, then embedding the mp4 or m4v video file to the slide.
For how to use QuickTime's screen recording feature (do not upload the video to Kaltura/Drexel Streams), see the webpage below.
For how to use Handbrake, see the following webpage(s).
- Note, when converting a video file, we recommend first timers select "Fast 1080p30" in the right panel before hitting the "Start" green circled triangle icon.
- The official Handbrake documentatin wepbage is found here. Drexel ITG's link may be broken.
