How to Mute Teams

There are many ways to mute Teams. You can mute a chat, mute every chat, mute calls, mute the entire application itself, etc.

1. Muting a specific chat:

Open teams -> Find the chat you want to mute -> Right click the chat with your mousepad or mouse -> Press mute 

2. Muting all of Teams:

Open teams -> Go to the three dots next to your profile icon -> Press settings -> Go to Notifications and Privacy ->Turn on "Mute all notifications (except for calls and meetings)" 

*You can check "Always allow urgent and priority contact notifications" if that is necessary*

3. Volume Mixer Muting

Go to settings on your computer -> System -> Sound -> Volume Mixer

Teams should show up as an application and you can mute it or turn it to your desired volume.
