Office 365 -- OneDrive -- Finding Folder Sizes

Access and Login to the OneDrive Web Portal

Here is how to access and login to the OneDrive web portal, which will let you upload files and folders from your computer without installing OneDrive.

  1. Visit https://portal.office.com in an internet browser.

  2. In the first text box, enter your Drexel email address that contains your DrexelOne userid.

  3. In the second text box, enter your DrexelOne password.
    1. The Drexel University will appear on the webpage when you click out of the first text box.

  4. Click the "OneDrive" tile icon on the Office365 portal webpage.

  5. You are now on the OneDrive web portal "home" page.

    Your files and folders will likely have different names.

Folder Size Information

Here is how to find out the size of a folder you uploaded to the OneDrive web portal after it has been uploaded.

  1. Click Gear icon in OneDrive web portal.

  2. Click "Site Settings" in right-hand "Settings" panel.

  3. Click "Storage Metrics" on "Site Settings" webpage.

  4. Click "Documents" on "Storage Metrics" webpage.

  5. Look at the "Total Size" column for the size of folders.

  6. Click "Office 365" link to return to the Office 365 web portal.
