Attendance Tool (Plus Drexel One Photo/Class List)

How to Enable the Attendance Tool in Canvas Navigation

To make the Attendance tool visible to Teachers and TAs in a Canvas course section, enable it in the course navigation:

  1. Open your Canvas course section
  2. In the left-hand navigation menu, scroll to the bottom and click Settings.
    (If the left-hand navigation menu is not visible, click the three-line menu icon in the upper-left corner)
  3. Click the Navigation tab at the top
  4. Scroll down to the list of hidden items and locate Attendance
  5. Click the three dots (⋮) next to Attendance and select Enable (or drag it up to the active navigation items list)
  6. Scroll down and click Save

The Attendance tool will now appear in the course navigation menu for Teachers and Teaching Assistants.
