- IMPORTANT! Post Grades Manually: Before grading, set the assignment's Grade Posting Policy to "Manual." You can release feedback and grades all at once when you are ready. Otherwise, students see each grade as you grade.

See the "Canvas Grade History" screenshot attached.Canvas does have "Grade History," and you can use the "Filters" to check previous vs current grades.
- Go to "Grades" in left course navigation.
- Click "Gradebook" drop-menu in top left.
- Select "Gradebook History."
- You will see a chronological log of every grade change.
- "Grader" column: Shows exactly which TA entered the grade.
- "Time" column: Shows the timestamp.
- "Artifact" is the term for Assignment, Quiz, or graded activity. "Assessment" would be far better.
- "Start Date" & "End Date" explain themselves.
- Select a specific TA (Grader) and a specific Artifact/Assignment.
- Click "Filter" to apply.
- Compare different rows showing the same TA grading the same assignment.
- You will immediately see a list where you can scan the timestamps.
- So, just an example, but if you see timestamps like 10:05:01, 10:05:05, 10:05:09, you would have"smoking gun" evidence of a 4-second grading pattern.
- Go to "People" and click the TA's name on that page. (now "Course Analytics," which only lists info for students.)
- Click "User Account Details" (not "Student Interactions Report," not "Access Report").
- Scroll down to "Page Views."
- You can filter by date, and see what page they were on when and for how long.
- This may not give you complete proof, but it's more info.
Speed Grader Interface
- If you have Canvas Assignments, Quizzes, or GradedDiscussions, you automatically have access to Speed Grader.
- Go into any Assignment in your Drexel Canvas course & look onthe right-hand menu.
- Also, if you click on a student's submission in the Gradebook.
- Watch Canvas SpeedGrader Video:
- Go to "SpeedGrader" for an assignment.
- Click the gear/cog settings icon in upper left.
- Chose to sort alphabetically from "Sort student list" drop-down & click "Save Settings."
