Cavnas - Question Pools to Question Banks

  1. Look at the Bb Learn exam from you when you last taught it in Bb Learn, and copy the names of the Question Pools you used.
  2. See highlighted entries in screenshot for an example.
  3. Copy the Final Exam Question Pool names to a text or word file.
  4. Those should be in Canvas but as Question Banks to use.
  5. In Canvas, go to quiz/test/exam, and edit the test,
  6. click the Questions tab on the page,
  7. rename or replace the existing empty Questions Group,
  8. click Find New Questions,
  9. click a Question Bank option in the left nav (scroll down on left side for more options) corresponding to the Question Pool form Bb Learn
  10. Select All
  11. Scroll down on right side of window, and choose the Question Group to add selected questions to.
  12. Click "Add Questions."
  13. Questions in a few moments will be added to the Question Group and exam/quiz/test
  14. Repeat steps 8-13 until all desired questions are added
  15. Click Save at bottom to save changes to exam.
