Drexel Alumni: Drexel Email and Drexel Online Storage and Services After You Graduate
There is no way to convert your Drexel Microsoft SharePoint, Office365, or OneDrive files or account to a personal Microsoft account.
You will have to download the files from your Drexel SharePoint, Office365, and OneDrive and store them elsewhere to keep them.
If you have less than 5GB of files, you can probably upload it all to a personal Microsoft SharePoint/account, which has 5 GB of free storage for anyone.
Your Drexel email inbox will supposedly remain indefinitely, but you should set an auto-response to let people know your Drexel email will change to @dragons.drexel.edu.
We do NOT recommend counting on continued access or use after 30 days (beyond email forwarding or auto-response), just to be on the safe side. To set up an automatic response email, visit CS Public Information -- Automatic Response Email.
After one year, your @drexel.edu email address will be gone, and just your @dragons.drexel.edu will remain.
If you forwarded your email to gmail or another email service, that forwarding will remain.
To our knowledge, none of your old email will be lost, but she may want to call accounts at 215-896-2020 to confirm.
