Bb Learn Tests -- Submission Dates and Times and Test Time Duration Gathering

Introduction and Method 1 -- Download Grade History for a Test as CSV or tab-delimited text file to open in Excel

Note 1: Test duration (how long it took the student to take the test) is not included with this method.

Note 2: With this method, different events in the history of a single attempt (or submission) are recorded in multiple different lines.

  • Examples:
  • "Attempt submitted (needs grading)" in a row indicates when a student submitted the test. An attempt is a submission.
  • "Attempt Grade #" in a row indicates when a student's test submission was graded, as well as the grade entered.
  • "Attempt marked as Not Ignored #"  in a row indicates when a student's test submission was graded, as well as the grade entered. The submission might have been set to be "Ignored" previously or not.
  • "Attempt Grade #" in a row with text in the "Comments" column when instructor or course assistant feedback comments were added.
  • "Override Grade #" in a row indicates when a grade was entered for a student's test that overrides other grades, as well as the grade entered.
  • "Attempt Grade Cleared" in a row indicates that a student's graded test submission was reverted back to a "need grading" or null state.
  • "Override Grade Cleared" in a row indicates that a student's overriding test grade was reverted back to a "need grading" or null state.
